Project Summary

The Circuit House Lounge in Bandarban, set amidst the serene and picturesque hills of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, offers a blend of modern luxury with the warmth and rustic charm of the region. The interior design concept is inspired by the natural beauty of Bandarban, incorporating local materials, traditional motifs, and a refined sense of space that complements the tranquil environment.

Overall Design Concept:

The lounge interior is designed to be an inviting space that reflects the natural elegance of Bandarban’s landscape. The design draws inspiration from the surrounding hills, forests, and the tranquil Sangu River, with large glass windows offering panoramic views of the lush greenery outside. The design combines elements of rustic, contemporary, and ethnic influences to create a seamless fusion of luxury and nature.

Staircase Design:

The staircase serves as a stunning centerpiece in the lounge, connecting different levels with a seamless flow. The design is a perfect balance of functionality and aesthetic appeal, creating a dramatic architectural statement within the space.

• Material and Structure: The staircase is crafted from rich, dark-stained hardwood, reflecting the surrounding forested landscape. It features open risers, which create an airy feel and allow natural light to pass through, maintaining the spaciousness of the lounge.
• Handrail: A sleek, contemporary glass balustrade runs alongside the staircase, providing a sense of modernity and ensuring unobstructed views of the lounge and surrounding scenery. The handrail is finished with polished wood, matching the steps for a cohesive look.
• Landings: Midway landings are designed as small seating nooks, adorned with comfortable chairs and small side tables, offering guests an opportunity to pause and enjoy the view through the large windows.
• Lighting: LED strip lighting is subtly integrated beneath each stair tread, illuminating the staircase with a soft glow that enhances the wood’s natural grain. This creates a warm and inviting ambiance in the evening, adding depth and elegance to the staircase.
