Project Summary

The Shantiniketan Ambedkar Buddhist Welfare Association is an organization that aims to support the rural communities in the area through various social activities. The organization has installed a 33 feet Buddha statue near Prakiti Bhavan to make it a landmark place for visitors. As an architect, the vision is to make this place even more peaceful and sustainable for the inhabitants by providing community facilities that are based on the vernacular architecture of Santiniketan. Santiniketan is a great place known for Rabindranath Tagore's institution where we can feel the essence of his great creation in mastering literature. The proposed community facilities would not only benefit the inhabitants of the area but also attract visitors to come and experience the beauty of the place. The programs for social development that will be implemented should be designed to blend seamlessly with the vernacular architecture of Santiniketan, ensuring that they are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. The proposed facilities should be sustainable, environmentally friendly, and should meet the needs of the community. With the help of sustainable architectural and social development initiatives, the association can improve the lives of the inhabitants and create a peaceful and harmonious environment for everyone.
